A Current Account is a non-interest-bearing demand deposit account that allows withdrawals any number of times, based on the balance available or up to a pre-agreed limit. This account category also includes other deposit accounts that do not fall under Savings Deposits or Term Deposits.

⇒   Proof of constitution, such as a government notification or ministry acknowledgment.

⇒   PAN card or Form 60, as applicable.


Sole Proprietor

⇒   Two entity proofs and one address proof document.

⇒   PAN card of the proprietor (mandatory).


Society

⇒   Entity proof and address proof documents.

⇒   Certified copy of the society’s registration certificate signed by the Secretary/Chairperson/President/Managing Committee Member.

⇒   Certified copy of rules and by-laws signed by the appropriate authority.

⇒   PAN card in the name of the Society.

⇒   Certified copy of the resolution to open the account signed by two authorized signatories.

⇒   Society’s memorandum of association and rules.


Section 25 Company (Now Section 8 Company)

⇒   Entity proof and address proof documents.

⇒   Memorandum and Articles of Association (or e-forms INC 33 & INC 34).

⇒   Certificate of incorporation.

⇒   PAN card in the name of the company.

⇒   Certified copy of the resolution for account opening signed by two authorized signatories.
